VOLUNTEERING & BEFRIENDING SERVICES

"Life is Precious, Your Time is Valuable"

Age Concern Lincoln could not provide many of the valuable services that it does currently without the help and support of our many wonderful volunteers. We always need more volunteers and offering as little as 2hours a week can make a real difference to someone's life. You have a great deal to offer the older community of Lincoln, even by just being there you can help bring happiness into many lives. As well as the satisfaction that helping the lederly can give you and the friends you can make in doing so, being a volunteer is a good way of gaining experience in a working environment.

Volunteering can and sould be a rewarding experience for both the service user and the volunteer. Age Concern Lincoln has a wide range of opportunities within our organisation offering volunteers a choice of experiences.

All our volunteers have been CRB checked and have gone through in house Induction Training for all volunteering opportunities within Age Concern Lincoln. Our volunteers give their free time on a voluntary basis and whilst we will do our very best to meet your needs, our volunteers cannot be on hand 24 hours a day.
