VACANCIES WITHIN AGE CONCERN LINCOLN
Treasurer & Trustees - Voluntary Positions
Age Concern Lincoln is a local charity providing a range of community support services for older people – we also campaign and raise awareness on issues facing older people.
The Charity has embarked on a further phase of growth and development and is looking for a Treasurer and additional Trustees to support us with this programme.
The major role of the Board of Trustees is to ensure that the organisation has a clear sense of purpose and direction and to see that it makes progress towards its purpose, by establishing clear aims and a strategy to achieve them.
The role of the Treasurer is also strategic – to provide advice, assistance and information to Trustees on their financial stewardship responsibilities and to act as the leading interface between Trustees and Senior Staff on financial matters.
We are looking particularly for people with skills in Finance [for the Treasurer’s post], and Strategic Management, Business Development and Information Technology for the other posts.
This post is Voluntary and you will be required to attend Monthly Board Meetings.
